My first win

My first correspondence win came last night when I received Allen's postcard. He fought well and if anyone is interested I'll post the match in this post. Now he and I have one other match where he threw the book out again and the opening is developing really nicely. It's a true English opening against my Anglo Dutch Defence. We'll see who comes out on top in a few months.

Now here is what I promised. Allen H. v James H.:
1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. Bb5+ Nc6 4. o-o Bd7 5. Re1 a6 6. BxN BxB 7. b3 e5 8. c3 Be7 9. d4 Bf6 10. d5 Bd7 11. a4 Ne7 12. Qd3 o-o 13. Be3 g7 14. b4 pxp 15. pxp Bg7 16. Nc3 f5 17. Bg5 Rf7 18. Qd2 f4 19. If anyone out there can provide information regarding displaying the match on a blog please let me know.

Hi, cool to see a "conservative chess blog," so to speak. Saw your comment at chessloser's.
